Washington University in St. Louis
Jeremie Osaghae-Nosa, a St.Louis native, is a rising second-year student at Washington University in St. Louis. He is working in Dr. Samuel Achilefu’s Lab to determine depth of a tumor in vivo. Jeremie has always had a keen interest in research ever since eighth grade when, after researching different characteristics of planetary bodies in the known universe, he created his own solar system. This general love of solving challenging problems using interesting solutions has been the focal point of his time at WashU. Jeremie loves coding new applications, studying university endowments, and playing chess in his free time, all of which foster his drive to create solutions to problems. He would tell future applicants to never stop solving problems and loving science. “The world is almost in your grasp and I know you will seize it.”
